I half-jokingly said early on in Trump's presidency that I thought his tenure in the White House was just a ploy...so he could gather enough material for his next reality show. Well...now I'm sure about it. There is no way that this man means even a tiny bit of what he says. He is putting us all on...in an obvious attempt to discredit the federal government of this country. Firstly Trump never said that... this is a spin off of a CNN Gotcha piece with Rudy G. who said Trump would never do that when asked if Trump "Could do it" "Rudy... Maybe he could but never would". And the Lame Stream Media ran with it Blindly proclaiming it so. Of course some Dimowits hoping to throw shade for a Constitutional Crisis (seeing as all else is failing) picked up on it... proclaiming "Your not a King"

Christ Rudy's been on a tear Punkin' the dumbass media from some time... now it's "self pardons to shooting of Comey"... they fall for it time and time again. One after the other quoting from the other tools in the shed.

He absolutely tweeted it...9 hours ago. He attributed the right to "numerous legal scholars" and did not say he was going to pardon himself. But, fact remains, he did tweet "I have the absolute right to PARDON myself"

The Tweet came after the fact that the press ran wild with it.... and I've not read or see it.

But I'll attribute it to Trump pilling on Rudy's Punking... nothing more then to watch all the tongues wag and heads explode on the left. :popcorn:

I said "he did not say he was going to pard himself". Was just pointing out that you started your post with "Trump never said that" when he clearly said it. He never said he was going to pardon himself (at least that I'm aware of), but the title of the post didn't claim that either...
