I read a few days ago that Charlize Theron was thinking of leaving the United States because it was not safe for her black children. She should go back to South Africa - it would be safer for her children (but not for her).

It's a good thing the cops didn't feel "threatened"...otherwise, someone would have gotten SHOT.

PaceAdvantage 04-14-2018 04:43 PM

Taking this story at face value (I haven't watched the video, just read the story), this is outrageous...people need to lose their jobs over this one (both at Starbucks and on the philly PD)

The key is “they were asked to leave”

If it was a request from the store, employee or whatever, and they refused. End of discussion.

This is why leadership is important. A manager at the store, a patrol Sgt. Etc could have intervened if they said they were waiting to meet somebody. I am wondering how long they were there and did they stage this event.

Probably staged by somebody who's short SBUX.

idk this is a non story to me. I go to a Barnes and Noble on lunch break sometimes. There is a coffee shop, sometimes I'll sit down but will only rarely order something. Staff will come around sometimes and ask me to buy something or leave. What I do is I leave. Paying customers deserve the seats.

Also, as far as it being a racial incident, Philly is even more so-called diverse than NYC, and in NYC the majority of employees are African American or nonwhite. So, most likely it was diverse staff that called the Po Po (of course there is that dreaded Institutionalized Racism, etc). It is actually cool in that the CEO of Starbucks is an anti white jerk, remember the white privilege crap he foisted on us?

I don't know the whole story, but I really hope the media isn't sensationalizing and twisting a story into a racial issue.

Any store has the right to kick out who they want if they know he/she is a safety threat.

Not if they are trying to order a gay cake.

Too late for that. They bamboozled me...turns out it was all BS.

Black police chief telling it like it is...another media-created leftist-created non-racist story made to look racist.

Starbucks issues an apology
