As for the last sentence since you keep repeating it, or something similar you have been told enough times how a state votes as a whole has zero to do with crime. That is just one of your baseless Democrat talking points that you happily parrot without thought. Are you ever able to think for yourself?
A state's ranking in violent crime is directly related to how it's largest cities are run. There is one thing most all high crime cities have in common, a Democrat mayor, and a Democrat district attorney or equivalent. Maybe you are unaware in most cases the mayor can fire the police chief.
