The local tv ratings for the golf tournament was 3x that of the Rangers on sunday. That's unheard of here, so there is still an " I don't give a shit about MLB " attitude. Yes, DFW is a golf hotbed.. but it's always been a baseball area that's had more interest in the sport than golf when it came to tv ratings. Then they embraced BLM and turned off a good sized portion of the fan base
