OK, pushing back a week to avoid Fathers Day. Now June 22-24.

We are locking down the dates (no one noted a problem with these) - June 22/23/24, 2012 for the First Annual Pace Advantage Arlington Park Weekend Extravaganza!
Please use this thread ONLY for 'signing up' (the 'Comments/Ideas'thread is for, well, comments/ideas). Copy the bottom portion of this post and fill in the info if you plan to join us. This wil give us an idea of numbers which we need to have (especially for Saturday). Everyone is welcome; the only caveat is you bring a good attitude!
If you don't want to disclose your name, so be it...I plan to have name tags there that will be either pre-printed or, if I dont have your name, blank that you can fill in.
Some folks have suggested Maywood Park Friday night. An alternative is AP usually has a mid-afternoon first post on Fridays. Note that traffic from AP to Maywood on a Friday night can be slow.
Also, the White Sox play the Brewers that weekend on the south side (Cubs are out of town). We will not organize that per se but if folks want to do that, post here and you can get in touch with each other.
The plan is to have several boxes or a room on Saturday at AP (thanks to tbwinner!). For Friday and Sunday we will figure out where to hang out. May be other 'goodies' on Saturday, but we'll see.
Saturday night we will organize dinner (pay your own but we will get a reservation) - some have suggested downtown, others a place near AP due to traffic etc. Of course, we could have two groups depending on interest.
Finally, we could look into finding a group rate for a hotel if there is interest.

There are several hotels nearby. Not sure if they have shuttles (suspect they do) but I am sure someone could swing by and pick you up. I'd be happy to do so if the timing works out.

What is best to fly into and closest to AP- O'Hare or Midway??

O'Hare. AP is about a 15 minute drive northwest. Midway would take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

Don't rule out Mitchell (Milwaukee). Southwest flies into there. Maybe more miles than Midway but not sure the commute would take longer.
