No worse than Willie Brown appointing Kamala Harris to a couple boards where she did little work for a couple six figure yearly salaries. It is only news when a Republican does it. Could you imagine if Harris was a Republican the media frenzy would have forced her to resign and never serve in public office again.

hiring friends or family and paying hundreds of thousands in government money (or campaign money) is not something new

The motion said the checks sent to Wade from Fulton County and his subsequent purchase of vacations for Willis could amount to honest services fraud, a federal crime in which a vendor gives kickbacks to an employer. It is also possible this could be prosecuted under the federal racketeering statute, the motion said

WOW kickbacks and the possibility they could be prosecuted under federal racketeering statue.

There is more, see below

"A problem with Wade’s appointment is that it was not approved by the Fulton board of commissioners as required by law, the motion said. The motion also questions Wade’s credentials, contending he has never prosecuted a felony case. (Wade was an assistant solicitor for Cobb County in 1999. The office handles misdemeanor cases."

They have paid this guy over 650K in legal fees.

But Fani and her boyfriend charged Trump with racketeering first, so they're good.

Now his ex is going after them in their still pending divorce case.

Any funds she paid him can legally be hers too......?????

from an article :

"But now the plot thickens for the beleaguered prosecutor, who probably just wants to be left alone so she can take Trump down and profit off that achievement. The estranged wife of Willis' alleged sneaky link wants her to testify in their divorce proceedings.

The Wall Street Journal reports that "a process server said he showed up at Willis’s office in Atlanta on Monday morning with a subpoena seeking her testimony in the Cobb County divorce case of Nathan Wade, a lawyer she hired as a special prosecutor in the Trump case, and his wife, Joycelyn Wade. The process server said he left the subpoena, filed by Joycelyn Wade’s lawyer, with Willis’s executive assistant."

unseal their divorce docs...........they might be interesting

All in this thread is good, but it will become meaningless unless Republican governor Brian Kemp and Republican attorney general Chris Carr remove her and then indict her, which should happen.

But, I won't hold my breadth on either a removal or future indictment because Brian Kemp is a virulent Never Trumper, despite having both legal standing and responsibility.
