The way the Derby has been going the past seven years he might get the nod anyway. Those EP7 types have been tough to beat regardless of track condition since the last P type (Orb) won, coincidentally, with Rosario aboard. Essential Quality had no troubles dusting the field in sloppy Southwest. I'd be comfortable using either without looking at the forecast.

Known Agenda would be able to splash home out of sire Curlin.

EQ ... even though I may play him only in 2/3/4/5 spots ... has the best Female Family 1X ....in the slop of all contenders since 1980 .....

I would think Soup and Sandwich would be excellent on an offtrack. Dam side Gone West, Temperence Hill, Stop the Music, Unbridled, AP Indy

Curlin is as good as it gets siring mud freaks..........but Known Agenda isn't one of them.
KA hates the mud.......he was a miserable horse from the jump in the soupy Remsen.
But the other Curlin sired hopeful (if he gets in)........King Fury.......that's a horse of a different color........he adores the mud.
Simply put.......King Fury thinks he's a fish.
