I recall some clown was here years ago and his response to the title National Socialist Party aka the German Worker's party was a COMPLETE misnomer but he stated; "See they even call themselves socialist!"

The very definition, should you happen to look it up goes like this, from Wikipedia...Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultra-nationalist political ideology and movement, characterised by a dictatorial leader, centralised autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

Calling this form of governmental leftist is akin to telling you that vanilla ice cream is actually fudge brownie.

The "far-right" is all about less government. Freedom from government control is what allowed this country to become great. You are a joke.

Having spent some time in the academic world at the university level, the leftists residing there were anxious to distance themselves from the Nazis by creating a spectrum that made no sense. They put the "right wing" totalitarians on one side of the spectrum and the "left wing" on the other side.

In reality, the spectrum runs from Freedom to Totalitarian.

The media (also leftist) parroted this false model because it was socially unacceptable to be associated with the Nazis but socially acceptable to be associated with the Communists. The gullible swallowed this nonsensical model. I learned the same nonsense too. It never made sense to me even as a high school student. It was rote learning at its finest because it certainly wasn't logical or real. What next, a hot-cold spectrum where very hot shares a spot next to cold and hot is at the opposite end?

Every time the Nazis are correctly called Socialist (which is a part of their acronym), apologists start screaming that it's all a misunderstanding created by ignorant fools. The confusion is aided by the fact the Nazis fought the Communists. Guess what, Communists usually hate each other and have fought each other since the inception of Communism. I've lived in a Communist country and don't see any difference between the practice of Communism and Nazism though I am too young to have personal experience with the latter. They're all just a bunch of thugs running things for their own personal benefit.

A Wiki!! :pound:

Question: What is the term for a far-left authoritarian political ideology and movement, characterised by a dictatorial leader, centralised autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy?

'Cause you know it exists. I'm looking for a more defiinitive term than "People's Republic."

we need a new word .... demonratism

Demonratism is an authoritarian political ideology and movement, characterised by a dictatorial leader, centralised autocracy, media propagandism, extreme progressive ideas, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

I like it.

I recently read a book about "Mad" Anthony Wayne. He was, among other things, a fierce loyalist to Washington and the Federalists, and thus very much against the states' rights faction of primarily the South, who at the time were called Democrats. In surviving letters to his political associates, he refers to them as Demon-crats. In the 18th century. :D

Well, I thought it was funny.

It is you guys that change definitions. Abortion is now "health care", marriage is between same sex individuals, the definition of a vaccine has been turned upside down and most recently, a recession is no longer 2 consecutive quarters of declining GDP.

How could I forget to include the most important ones. The left cannot now define what a man or woman is! A man can get pregnant! There are now dozens of pronouns for humans!

Make as many people as possible doubt who or what they are. Make them feel ashamed of the past. Pit people against each other. All so that they are easier to control.
