Investing at the Racetrack

Was there any software which was either based on Investing at the

Racetrack or How Will Your Horse Run Today by William Scott?

Interesting timing...I was thinking the same thing. Fast Fred uses some of Scott's stuff but I don't think very well. I googled Wm Scott and found somethiing called "Victory at the Track" prntout for relatvely recent races at DED. Seemed to be linked with trackmaster. Wen t to their web site and found nothing. I liked what I saw and wish I could find out more.

I think this might be what you are talking about. You can check out the free past reports and pricing here: http://www.trackmaster.com/track/select/

Yes I use his P/R ratings (is that what they are called??), but only as a factor in a bigger model. It's a contributing factor, but clearly not enough to make a profit on its own.

Try looking for a program called WATT (Winning at the track). I think it is based on Scott. Try Pizzolla's site.

Fast Fred Professional software outputs (among a host of other factors) the Scott Performance-Class Ratings and the Form Ratings...I'm not sure about the specific Ability Time ratings. The 'author' does reference these to Scott's books. May be what you are looking for.

If I remember correctly, the All-In-One software on Brisnet uses the Scott numbers as part of its overall package.

The name of the program your looking for is called Victory.

Wm. Scott

Yes--AllWays has Scott's stuff.
Also a program called TrackJudge, written by a very excellent handicapper named Charles Judge, incorporates some of Scott's work. It is supported by HDW, and info can be accessed on the HDW website, www.horsedata.com.
This program is relatively unknown, but is a SUPERB piece of work!

Scott's stuff emphasized the last fraction if I remember correctly. It may do well on sythetics and turf, especially the routes. I wouldn't trust it at all in dirt sprints.

Where do you find the program entitled Victory ?

Total Victory as actually the title of Scott's last publication. It's format is included in the Framsen ALL-WAYS software at Brisnet, and the Fast Fred software, I mentionned in an earlier post. To date, as far as I know, there is no software with the specific title, 'Victory'.

There was a Victory floppy issued many years ago based on Scott's work.
