Firefox Crash
 

It seems I can't use my Firefox browser any more. It's still installed, but I get a message saying "the old firefox is still running and needs to be shut off." When I click to shut it off, I get nothing.

Should I simply try to uninstall and re-download? Is there a quick fix?

Well, after being unable to use Firefox all day, it mysteriously reappeared and I'm using it now. Probably my glitchy computer.

I always blame something like that on "user error". Then start thinking I need a new computer....

I always open up Task Manager and kill any (in this case Firefox) process I can find...that usually allows it to start working normally again

What PA wrote. Sometimes Firefox doesn't close properly and leaves itself running. It looks closed so the user tries to run it again but to no avail. You could always reboot if you don't want to mess with Task Manager. That would also clear up any RAM issues as well. I think FF still has an issue with memory leaks.
