Boy, do I feel old !

i was going to a Liza Minelli show in Atlantic City and she cancelled at the last minute and Vic Damone did the show himself. he was already past his prime, but gave a good show.

RIP young man

He was scheduled to play Johnny Fontane, the based-on-Sinatra crooner in "The Godfather" but then turned down the role, supposedly there was a Mob advisory element as part of his decision.He was replaced by Al Martino, who quite frankly was a bit of a stiff in the part.Damone had that finger snapping Rat Pack attitude that would have played out perfectly on screen.
