voters fleeing Democratic party

and this doesn’t include those who have switch to independent
Quote:

A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S. as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Party's gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.

More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country - Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns - in the period since President Joe Biden replaced former President Donald Trump.

But nowhere is the shift more pronounced - and dangerous for Democrats - than in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against Trump's Republican Party in recent years appear to be swinging back.

I remember a couple of democrat office holders asking democrats to vote in republican primaries in order to get beatable republicans into the general election. In most states a voter has to change party in order to do that.
I think that their strategy is working.

We know for certain there is a big shift going on in Florida because they made a big deal about the state shifting to red among registered voters a few months back.

Far more people are more concerned with inflation.
What do you suppose gas will be on election day?
Last time we had an inflation crisis, Reagan won won in a landslide.

Not to discount this, but the numbers I saw was that 600,000 also switched to Democrat. Makes me wonder what kind of people would switch like that. It isn't just a one way shift.

I saw the same thing.

The 400,000 net will be more than made up with phony ballots and dead people's votes.

Nope. Those numbers are already baked in. The tribalism numbers just about mirror the abortion polls. Not much will change
