An assertion by Florida’s politically appointed surgeon general that Covid-19 vaccines can contaminate human DNA has been dismissed as “scientific nonsense” by public health experts, who say he is putting lives at risk by wanting to block distribution.
Dr Joseph Ladapo, who was handpicked by the state’s far-right governor and fellow vaccine-skeptic, Ron DeSantis, to be the state’s top public health official, called for a halt in the distribution and use of mRNA Covid boosters, in an official bulletin published on Wednesday by the Florida health department.
His assertion that components of the shots “pose a unique and heightened risk of DNA integration into human cells”, potentially causing cancer, is the latest in a series of false claims by Ladapo, a prominent anti-vaxxer previously found to have manipulated data on vaccine safety.

Agree completely. I suggest you get as many COVID-19 booster shots as humanly possible.
|
And that is because most folks die of heart problems before the DNA is affected.
Good stuff, Docula!

In their letter, the federal agencies debunked the analysis’ conclusion, saying that cardiovascular experts who studied the concern had concluded that the risk of strokes and heart attacks was lower in people who had been vaccinated, not higher.
More than 13 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given around the world with little evidence of adverse effects, the federal health agencies said.
“It is the job of public health officials around the country to protect the lives of the populations they serve, particularly the vulnerable. Fueling vaccine hesitancy undermines this effort,” said the letter signed by FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and CDC Director Rochelle Walensky.
The Florida Department of Health on Saturday didn’t respond to an email inquiry about the letter.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo personally altered a state-driven study about Covid-19 vaccines last year to suggest that some doses pose a significantly higher health risk for young men than had been established by the broader medical community, according to a newly obtained document.
Researchers with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and University of Florida, who viewed Ladapo’s edits on the study and have followed the issue closely, criticized the surgeon general for making the changes. One said it appears Ladapo altered the study out of political — not scientific — concerns.
“I think it’s a lie,” Matt Hitchings, an assistant professor of biostatistics at the University of Florida, said of Ladapo’s assertion that the Covid-19 vaccine causes cardiac death in young men. “To say this — based on what we’ve seen, and how this analysis was made — it’s a lie.”

Did you get your COVID-19 updated vaccine today?
If not, be sure to schedule a double-dose tomorrow.
|
I think Zilly is racist and does not like Dr. Ladapo because he is a real doctor and is black. He also grasps at anything to discredit skeptics of the fake vaccine because he is in denial about what it has done to him. It is sad.

Is death considered an adverse effect?
what is little evidence? 1 in 10,000 shots? 1 in 5000 shots?
Do you FEEL the health agencies would admit they did a crappy job and were 'bought' by the drug companies?

Why should a healthy 13 year old get shots for something that they feel no worse than a head cold for because some already have both feet on banana peels and are shovel ready. You mask up stay home or go back to Canada to have blackface tell you your all done stick a fork in you. Pay the extra to have someone shop for your needs and hide from the world in your hovel. They destroyed economy's for nothing. In fact some suggest this would have been over sooner had bozo's like Anthony Stephen Fauci was retired at 65.
