I don't know, they both look pretty strong to me looking at the horses in the chart. I mean, it isn't the BC Classic or anything, but it compares well with other G1s for older horses.

The January 2021 rendition of this race might actually be fairly decent (in terms of competition/analysis) despite the multitude of recent retirements, etc.

I think they may have been considering the Peg prior to sending him to the shed. At least the last I read somewhere. I hope they decide to run him anyway; I felt he had some of the best upside potential of any horse in the Classic. At least that might give him one more chance to show it (if it exists).

I read it on John Cherwa free newsletter from the LA times, tried to paste but couldn’t He says Global Campaign will stand at Winstar for 12,500. For that price I don’t why they wouldn’t go for the Pegasus.
