Whenever Tucker says “Let’s be clear” it means he’s about to lie. This is not Martial Law. The right to peaceful assembly still exists. No one’s freedom of speech has been abridged. Elections have not been suspended. The invocation of the Emergencies Act is specifically targeted to those protesters who are blocking roads and disrupting neighborhoods. Which by the way, if this was being done by BLM protesters, everyone of you clowns would be screaming for their heads.

Tucker makes the point that the Emergencies Act has never been invoked before. Maybe that’s because there have never been so many idiots in one place before.

The truckers are a noisy radical minority supported by very few. Most of their monetary support comes from foreign sources. 84% of Canadiens over the age of 5 are fully vaccinated. I’m sure those people are thrilled to have their lives disrupted by a tiny minority that is putting the country in danger, or at the very least causing chaos and disruption.

The Emergencies Act is not unilateral. The Governors of the Provinces in which it is invoked must be consulted. And it must be approved by both Houses of Parliament within 7 days.

We mean by free and fair elections, unlike what happens here.

Yeah. Like we had in 2020. And might still have in 2022, in spite of efforts by Republican state legislatures.

What do you mean if? Even when it came to blocking roads the BLM supporters were worse than these truckers. Everyone knows where the truckers were going so people could avoid the chaos if they choose. The BLM people would spring up out of nowhere.
