I just don't understand how something like that can seem obvious but that isn't also something that would compromise him. Watch any decent spy show and that is exactly the method you use to turn people. Evidence of some wrongdoing that carries a hefty penalty is more often than not the blackmail material...

At this point the intelligence community and the media have done all the work that Russia couldn't accomplish with $10,000 in Facebook ads.
