Patently unconstitutional

I wonder how many violation of gun laws happen in the state of Illinois daily? You want to get guns off the street that are in illegal hands? Bring back stop and frisk to higher levels than ever before. Punish the felons with a gun, illegal concealment, and underage possession to the full extent of the law.
We need to stop worrying about the civil liberties of prospective criminals. Also who gives a rats ass about profiling, no need to stop female senior citizens as the Ma Barker types are pretty rare.

Dicks decision is currently being challenged in Michigan and Oregon. Probably others but I know for sure in both those places and will lose due to age discrimination.

these guys are nuts! even if you take away the guns from everyone in that state, the guys that have the guns from other states will show up there and use them. they will be sitting ducks in Illinois.

illinois needs to teach people how to use those guns and let everyone that wants to pack a gun get one.

a business can decide what to sell, they cannot decide who they can and cannot sell to based on products protected by the constitution regulated federally.

I doubt you'll get enough cops to confiscate to ever have an effect

Illasnois is close to Canada - can we give them to them?
The USA doesn't need a s-hole state like this one.

-what a tremendous idea that one is! i never in a million years would have come up with that move. every business at some point needs contraction, we need to get rid of Illinois and California for starters.

Maybe at the next great earthquake out west, we'll get lucky and Kalifornia will break off from the mainland. Then what's left of it we could hook up to sea-going tugs to tow to Hawaii. I bet all the illegals would love the change of scenery, too.
