Two weeks ago, I would have said no, but I'm thinking that the stock market should close for awhile.Every rumor is bringing the market down 4 to 10 percent.Since this market is being caused by a situation that is not under control yet, maybe it shold shut down until we get a better handle on it.

we are in the process of privatizing the profits and socializing the losses from our great company's that only fleeced us out of as much money as they could get their hands on, now its bailout time in dixieland!

There's no reason to close the market while every other market around the world stays open.

This would send a terrible message. Even worse then the ones being sent now.

S&P now halted for 15min...hit the first limit down point of the day:

2352.14 -7%

next lock limit down is at 2200.39 -13%

there is a tiny bit of support around S+P 2150, that looks to me that it will crack easily now. Dow headed for 15,000.

The ramifications of what is going on right now are absolutely game changing.

You don't fix massive unemployment, business failures, more quantitative easing and huge gov't payouts anytime soon.

There will be no V bottom.
