I tested the unit on a bare wall……works great, but cannot wait to see it on a screen with Apple TV

WOW!

My TV room won't take anything larger than 47 inches wide (not diag but wide). This limits us to a TV that is no more that around 49" diagonal.

The only room that would take such a screen would be upstairs (20' x 17') and I am not giving up my gym.

Our new house has a nice open floor plan with very high ceilings

The wall in the living room is 14 ft wide and the ceiling is 11 ft

My 65 inch LG OLED looks like a postage stamp. I considered buying a new 83 inch version of the same tv (these OLED LG’S are considered the best pic you can buy) or even a 96 inch. But the 83 is almost 7k all in. The 96 is mid teens.

The projector is the answer. We shall see

This sounds like ultimate viewing experience. I'm guessing you have a sound system that goes with?

I have few options for sound. Haven’t decided yet. I already own the equipment.

Watched a few new Star Trek episodes late last night via Apple TV.

Felt like I was in a movie theater.

I'm a fan of Apple TV. I think that Apple TV Plus has the best movies and series that I have ever seen on any pay per view service. The movies and series produced by Apple are not super plentiful, but they are very high quality. "Greyhound" with Tom Hanks was the best WWII Naval Epic I have ever seen. The current series "Black Bird" has me hooked. I think this must have been Ray Liota's last screen appearance before his death.

I only have a 4k/HDR 60" in my media room, but that's about as large as I can go because of my viewing distance. Apple TV looks spectacular on that screen.

Greyhound was great. Hanks pulls it off well. He looked so damn stressed during the film. Looked real to me.

Apple TV is the class of the field as a streaming machine. :ThmbUp:
