I like the rules modification regarding entries - gives players a choice :ThmbUp:

As I understand it, if you specifically like only one half of the entry (which is often the case),
you state that on your play naming only the horse you like.
If your named horse happens to be scratched, you are not stuck with the other horse.
Should you like both horses, then put :1: / :1a: and name them both.
Easy peezy.

It makes the scoring harder, but it's a nice change.

Of course I go with the 7...
Usually the way these things go. Even when I get payed in real life, I make the wrong decisions in these tournaments.:bang: :bang: :mad: :D :D

Couple of things on my mind.....

First ... I made it up to Saratoga Harness track yesterday (last night) ..miracle for me as it has been a Very Long Time ( maybe 8 -9 years ) since I was there.

Sat upstairs in their wagering room over the casino. Nice size crowd from what I last seen.

Well, I realize it was a Very Long Time since I was there.... but jeezes, I did not mean to "Shock them" so bad. Sitting there watching DelMar, Meadowlands, Mohwak, Saratoga Harness and all the beaties at The Meadows, and BAM the whole place loses power. Severe thunderstorm at the track and downpour so bad, the live race at Saratoga was delayed..... apparently, they cancelled the last few races also.

ANYWAY... about Del Toga Contest.

I was watching DelMar and in Race 7 there was an incident I witnessed and could not believe the stewards decision. Horse #4 Eddies Curl with Corey Nakatani after springing out of the starting gate, turned LEFT and body slammed into the #3 horse. Race continues on and the #4 horse finishes second to the Big Favorite #1.

Inquiry ( as should be ) .. but NO change in order... Stewards say the incident happened in the part of the race that the incident has NO bearing.

Thanks Stewards... another reason horse racing is getting a bad name.,

Hahahahaha I thought I was watching a Colorado Nebraska game today with these 2/5s and 1/2s......Kordell "slash" stewart.....I've been seeing a lot of plays from people with "slashes" in the odds :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

All I know is I'm glad I had that 1/2 earlier....80 got me 40!!!!!

Let me throw you guys a little bone here....if you like money you can 2 fist Johnny v at the windows here with bad hombre,....thinking about drilling this horse to place.....only because I think $4.30 to place is value with a dead entrie clogging up the tote.......obv hammering horse to win but sending to place....good luck guys and have a great weekend.....I'm headed to the meadowland tonight one last time in the old grandstand
