The problem will be where will they flee to. The Baltic countries, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland just closed their doors to Russians. I don't think many other countries will be likely to accept them either. Accepting countries won't be able to tell whether they are Russian spies or authentic in their not wanting to fight.

Every Russian assasin should be shot on site, no questions asked.
Death to all of them, as a lesson going forward. They deserve no sympathy.

Ukraine will take them.

Our present military seems to be trying to purge itself of true patriots (conservative thinkers; MAGA supporters) while holding on to the new generation of yes-men wokies. The shortage will have to be met. Who better than with grateful-to-be-here, maybe with promises of citizenship for having served, Demo beholden, guaranteed yes-men, disassociated border invaders?

What are the odds that this newly built military would be willing, per order, to turn on disobedient American citizens?

Russians have experience under socialism, communism and totalitarianism and would tend to not look kindly at current democrats. Democrats won’t want them here.

Russians are massively apolitical.
