The Death Knell Has Likely Sounded for America

I'm very sad to report that Anthony Scalia passed away today. Not only has America lost a great legal mind, but now we can be certain that he will be replaced with a star who won't shine nearly as brightly as this jurist did. This is a assuming, of course, that BO, will act with super swiftness to replace Scalia.

Sad news for sure... Lets hope Senate stands for the right choice.

Obama and all the rest of the liberals will be dancing in the street all night long. If the Democrats win the WH for another 8 years the Supreme Court will likely be 7-2 liberal as Thomas and Kennedy most likely won't be around for that much longer.

Between all the RINOs and Dem(on)s in the Senate, I think a snowball would have a better chance surviving in a pizza oven during a lunch rush hour.

I'd say that a replacement won't take his seat until the President makes a recess appointment after the Congress adjourns for the Fall elections. The Republican Senate would want to wait to see if a Republican gets elected President, and what the make-up of the new Senate will be, before considering a permanent nominee.

I'm sure Rubio would like to reach across the aisle and offer up a solid lib as a gesture of goodwill.

Ha, ha. No doubt. :) Same for The Cruzer.

Obama is probably having a party. He gets one more chance to ruin this country.

No Recess for the Congress and Mitch McConnell should pull a Reid and not bring any nominations to the floor.

The Court can still function till a New President is elected.

Maybe President Trump will select Senator Cruz!

If it comes to that, nothing short of secession will keep me here long term.

What if it turns out there was Foul Play in his death?

Oops, is someone growing a set?

It has been 80 years since a vacancy has been filled during a presidential election year. I already emailed Senator Blunt and said to vote against any nominee otherwise I will vote for the Democrat this November.
