Critical House vote today, April 12
 

Oops, did I say "critical"? I meant "hypocritical".

The House is voting on a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution. :pound:

This is the same GOP House that recently cut taxes and increased spending that put the country on track for $1 trillion a year deficits for years to come.

But in the coming election, Republicans can campaign on the failure of the Democrats to help pass this bill.

Most of the deficit hawks in the GOP are openly mocking it.

You'd think it's an election year or something.

Senate isn't interested in passing it I'm sure lol. It's just election year fodder
