Is nothing sacred?

A Jason Servis horse, with Paco on board, just lost a race at MTH.
#10 Passport to Chaos finished 3rd in the 3rd race at MTH...to the shock of all. But some were comforted to see that the race was won by a Chad Brown trainee...

You my return to your regular programming...

Turf routes really aren't the strength of Servis, or for that matter other guys that suddenly get really hot and seem to have horses running big new tops.

true, but considering recent trends, i was surptrised as #10 closed but fell short

since all the discussion about juicing i really think he backed off the needle, I have been playing against all his horses. Maybe coincidence but I am hoping to catch him when he kicks it in again in the fall.

This is pure speculation, I know, no proof..ha ha

Only playing his shippers showing one work on the track, and playing against any thing that won its last race.

I have been wary of him as well and he has certainly tailed off. He's winning at only 27% since Firenze Fire's score.:lol:

I was just making a more general point, guys that develop the reputation Servis had recently, be it short term or more long term, rarely seem to do as well in turf routes.

Last 20 days 22 starters with 27% wins and a 0.61 ROI.

So about half of what he was and massive losses in money.

Oh no doubt, definitely has tailed off. He was over 50% for a while. He spots his horses to win which is a big part of it, but I think something was definitely up in addition to that during his flaming hot streak. His horses weren't winning, they were running off the screen.

it was the betting action that made it clear something was up IMO

Well yeah, combined with the performances.

27% is a slump!
