Elite Strike Force Team Wins in PA!
Just kidding. https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...bc9_story.html
Quote:
"Plaintiffs ask this Court to disenfranchise almost seven million voters. This Court has been unable to find any case in which a plaintiff has sought such a drastic remedy in the contest of an election, in terms of the sheer volume of votes asked to be invalidated," US District Court Judge Matthew Brann wrote Saturday.
Brann went on to admonish the Trump campaign lawyers for not presenting factual proof for seeking to invalidate so many votes in the key battleground state.
"One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens. That has not happened," Brann added. "Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence."

How could this be? Isn't Sidney Powell's legal reputation "impeccable"?

Junior Varsity attorneys - out for a quick buck (although they'd better cash any checks they get right away).

I hope, for their sake, that they are not getting paid by the victory.

Something doesn't add up here. For Trump and team to be this incompetent and to lose this many poorly argued cases. There are obviously motives other than "we think there was fraud", but I'm not sure what they are. A ton of speculation regarding Trump positioning for future legal battles once he leaves office, setting himself up for a new show, setting himself up to run in 2024, etc. Whatever the case, this isn't being done out of a belief that there was widespread fraud.

Like the Dimwits were when Hillary lost in '16, you mean? Isn't Trump, in the mind of dimwits, still the illegitimate president? :coffee:

Lower court decisions often get overturned, especially when rendered by a progressive, activist judge, which this guy likely is.

The Judge is Matthew Brann a longtime and well-known Republican in Pennsylvania.
"The answer to invalidated ballots is not to invalidate millions more," Brann wrote.
Brann called the legal reasoning behind the Trump campaign's Equal Protection claim "Frankenstein's Monster."

Trump did thank the Judge for doing it in such a timely matter and not drawing it out. Just one step closer to the Supreme Court.
