I looked at the website of that group, and I see a lot of "statistics" presented with no cite of the source. I also see incredibly stupid statements that show total ignorance of how firearms work.

I can only think of this:

The vast majority of people don't want. 78% of US adults don't own a gun.

The right to bear arms never included
assault weapons, no matter how you spin it.

A bold statement to consider the document that's provided one of the best forms of government and most successful nations a "problem". Sure, our process is flawed, but there's ways to make changes to the laws if the amendment garners the support.

As for assault weapons, private citizens are actually behind the curve considering the weapons available for modern military use. So, "the spin" as you would call it, requires the good citizens to have a check and balance available to thwart tyranny.

But of course the spin from the gun grabbers is that Government is not to be feared. There are many who disagree.

Correct. Some reasons being that owning an assault weapon requires a Federal Class 3 Weapons License, which costs $200, and that assault weapon prices start in the 4 figure range.

Source?

Quote:

Two weeks ago, the PEW Research Center released a survey showing that gun ownership by households is up to 44% — a 7-percentage point increase in the past two years. Another 5% of households won’t reveal whether they own a gun.
And odds are good that some of the people who said that they didn't own a gun really did, but were just screwing with the pollsters. People lie to pollsters, a lot.

Obama couldn't get more anti-gun laws passed when he was in office, so now he wants Trump to do it.

Quote:

Former President Barack Obama issued a call for gun control just minutes after President Donald Trump addressed the nation in the wake of the tragic school shooting in Florida.

Obama described more gun control laws as “long overdue,” despite his repeated failure to change gun laws during his presidency.
