One man dead, four cops now out of a job, and FBI investigating.

Watching the video, that's a cop who ENJOYED what he was doing...

That should never happen.

The four cops have been fired.
That guy with the knee on the throat should be charged with murder!

The bystanders were in their right mind, and the cop should have taken a clue.

This is so tragic, in every way.

Why someone would persist as he did, knowing he was being filmed, and why the other cops stood around w/out trying to intervene and/or just get the perp into a vehicle and moving, is not understandable to me.

Perp appeared to be prone and most likely cuffed at this point, as there were 3 other officers standing around who would have been available to cuff the perp if he wasn't already?

I'm no cop hater, never have been, but the stress of their jobs and the inherent danger seems like they need some counselling and re-training on a regular basis?

Seems like it can otherwise take a toll on their emotional well-being and therefore ability for sound judgement.

Nothing about this makes any sense to me at this point.

The worst part about that video (other than the guy dying obviouslying) is that the bystanders clearly recognize he's dying and plead w the cops to check on him before the cops ever think to look.

What happened was tragic. And the officers involved deserve what is happening to them.

Making it more tragic is trying to turn it, yet again, into a racial issue. You have absolutely ZERO clue whether race had anything to do with it.

Cops have been kneeling on necks since the beginning of time...white necks...black necks...brown necks...and every color in between.

Also, since the beginning of time...they don't tend to listen much to people complaining about how they are being treated...anyone who has ever watched COPS kinda knows this...

And I agree w you that it's tragic, and I've got no idea if race was involved. However, with everything else that has happened in the last couple years, it's understandable that it's mentioned together with the video. But, show me a video of any cop doing that to any other race, and I'll be as equally frustrated

The problem is that there is only outrage when a political party or some kind of movement can benefit from the outrage.
