PP Stats for Mohawk

Does anybody have post position winning statistics for Mohawk?

The track program pp's I download from their website only have early this year. April, I believe.
Nothing current.

I noticed a trotter won from the 10 last night and their old data showed zero wins from that post previously.

I wish they'd update their program information and make it up to date!

In the meantime, does anyone here have anything current?

Thanks.

I just started to follow this track for the first time. These post position stats are pretty biased for a two turn track. Compare to the Meadowlands where post 1 is winning at 7.7 this year, post 8 is 10.9, post 9 is 8.2 and post 10 is 8. So in other words, the Meadowlands does not have a post position bias, perhaps one of the reasons why it's the number 1 track in terms of handle.

Meadowlands is still my favorite, but, two nights a week just isn't enough.

I'd like to see a more even distribution of winning posts at Mohawk.
Trotters have almost no chance from several posts. Pacers a little better.

You would think with that long run to the first turn, things would be fairer at Mohawk.

Can anybody explain why they aren't?

I'd like to play them regularly with racing 5 days a week!

Pandy,
Do you know if the stats for Yonkers are any less biased since they eliminated the passing lane?

If you wanna know post stats for any other tracks in Canada besides Mohawk go to this link

As far as post position, I don't think the removal of the passing lane has helped the post position bias much. Moving the finish line back to the old one did help the outside posts a little, because they have more room to leave before they hit the turn, but Yonkers, like all half mile tracks, is dominated by posts 1 through 5. I do think the races are a little better, overall.

Mohawk is going to be my main track going forward.
(I'm dropping thoroughbreds for a while)

Thanks for the pp info, everyone.

Couple of questions.
Why does 5 and 6 win so much?
Why don't pacers or trotters win much from the outside?
Why is the 1 not so good for trotters, even though 2 is very good?

Are these just anomalies from too few races?
Or are these the normal for Mohawk?

Thanks
Denny

Denny
Mohawk Posts 5 and 6 are also the best for ROI compared to the other post positions.

also:
Garnet Barnsdale always has good info for betting Woodbine-Mohawk at DRF

http://www.drf.com/harness

If I'm reading his meet stats right, those are strong numbers on returns for Apr 12-to date, 330+races

Denny 06-12-2018 10:14 PM

I follow Pompano Park during the Winter.
Post 5 wins twice as much as any other post, (other than maybe the 4, but, still considerably more).
The Trackmaster pp's have the 5 at 60+ rating always.
I swear it's because the 5 drafts behind the Hummer before the start.
It's always right behind the car drafting.

The Meadows also starts the 5 directly behind the car and has the highest win percentage.

Can this be happening elsewhere? Perhaps to a lesser extent.

The 5 and 6 start right in line with the start car's tire tracks, which compress the track cushion, at 7/8 and 1-mile tracks. Giving these posts an edge.

How else to explain the winning percentages of these two starting posts at Meadowlands and Mohawk.

It's consistent at every meet they run, year after year.

Golden Post still does it!
