Your favorite movies 1960 – 1999, Nomination thread(no comedies or sports)

What are your two favorite movies that were release between the years 1960 to 1999(that haven’t already been nominated). If your favorite movies were already nominated, nominate two other of your favorites that were released during those years.
To make the poll a little more diverse, the movie cannot be one of the following:
●no sports movies, including horse racing movies(no Seabiscuit)
●no comedies

Depending on how many movies are nominated, I’ll create a poll or two, to crown the winners.

Seriously?

Just two movies in a 40 year time span?

Ok, bookends…The Godfather and Goodfellas.

So many great movies of that time period. Here are four honorable mentions:

The Sting, Patton, Pulp Fiction and Unforgiven.

Shawshank Redemption and Godfather

Honorable Mention: Outlaw Josey Wales

"Buzzards gotta eat. Same as worms"

All three of those movies are about redemption. Two succeeded. One failed.

I have gotten enough nominations. Thanks.

We're going to go with one poll of 15.

No more nominations accepted.
