Who else uses Brave as their main browser?

For years, I used Firefox as my main browser until I had some problems with adblock not working. Soon, I also learned Mozilla also went "woke," which left a bad taste in my mouth every time I opened up Firefox.

Anyways, I gave Brave a shot. The guy behind Brave is Brendan Eich, who apparently co-founded Mozilla and served as CEO before stepping down due to the controversy over him not supporting same sex marriage.

Brave is a Chromium-based browser, which means it might feel like Chrome in some ways. But it does a great job of blocking YouTube ads without any extra add-ons. When I go on horse racing sites, I don't notice any pop up ads.

Anyways, if people are frustrated with Chrome or Firefox, I thought I'd recommend Brave.

Just love Brave.

I've been using it for 2-3 years. (Honestly not sure how long.)

It's Chrome without the bloat.

They make a big deal about all the stuff they've protected me from.
  • 1,366,934 Trackers & ads blocked
  • 19.27GB Bandwidth saved
  • 19hours Time saved

There are a few sites (like PA) where the shields are set to down so the ads get through.

Still, I rarely see an ad here.

I've been using Brave for over a year now. I was a big FF fan, but every update seemed to make it slower. I've tried other browsers like Pale Moon but prefer Brave. I like the idea behind "The Classic Browser" but I don't like the UI very much. I may give it another chance. Here's the link if you want to give it a test drive: The Classic Browser

Just started using it, onky thing is it doesn't sync with gnaol for bookmarks. FF constantly update too

If you mean "reads gmail" just make a shortcut to gmail.com.

If you mean "Doesn't synch shortcuts on the tool bar," no, it doesn't after the first time - unless you ask it to.

I stopped using Chrome except for the rare site that insists on real Chrome.

RTN.tv (Racetrack Network used to insist. Not any more.)

I decided to just go back to Firefox, but I used to use Safari, I liked it because on the sidebar, you could have FB messenger and other apps you could use.
