Equibase Live Racing Calendar
 

In the past I have enjoyed using the Equibase Racing Calendar to see what tracks were running and on what dates, and to even plan future track visits.

I have seen a number of errors, and have pointed them out by contacting multiple folks at Equibase. In several cases, I have even sent them links which could be clicked on and reviewed in less than 60 seconds to confirm that subject tracks had cancelled upcoming meets.

I realize in the current environment that some companies have reduced staffs and that this impacts their abilities to complete various tasks in a timely manner, but it currently appears that efforts to maintain an accurate calendar are lacking. Perhaps I did not contact the correct people, or maybe those I made contact with neglected to follow up.

In any event, it is my hope that someone at Equibase in a position to do so will become aware of this problem and see that the appropriate changes are made. Some of the needed corrections were from months which have now come and gone, and since past months can not be selected, there is no need to go back and make those corrections. Going forward, I am aware of two corrections which need to be made:
(1) Marquis Downs (MD) still shows racing dates in August and September. They cancelled their entire 2020 meet.
(2) Timonium Fair (Tim) still shows racing dates in August and September. They cancelled their 2020 meet with Laurel (Lrl) subsequently picking up 7 additional racing dates.

My intention is not to nitpick, but when there are errors with at least 5 or 6 different race meets then there is a significant problem. Hopefully corrections can be made soon so that this calendar can once again become the "Go To" source of track race meet info.

The Timonium and Marquis Downs racing dates have been reviewed and the page is undergoing review for any other issues.
