Would appreciate all of your thoughts on what the jockey was doing with this horse? From my perspective, 20% jockey putting a complete stranglehold on the horse throughout the race. This just seems wrong.

CBYRacer...that's because it is. I have never seen a Horse who has raced well after being "shut down" repeatedly...or for a long period of time in a race.

My guess is the caliber of Horse that races at Canterbury (no offense intended) isn't reacting well to that.

It kind of makes you feel like a "victim" when you land on said Horse in a race.
