we need Welfare for farmers--Trump
 

Due to my tarriffs, the farmers need not suffer for policies I put in place so....

I will give them money for the money they are losing due to my policies.

We are looking at a federal deficit of over $800 billion for fiscal 2018. What's another $12 billion on top of that? Small potatoes. Oops, do we need to subsidize Idaho potato growers?

Trump's true self is starting to reemerge after posturing as a Republican for the election. The Donald has been a New York Democrat for most of his life, except when he went off at a tangent to run for president for some party or other. The guy always has and always will believe in big government, and even better if it is the Trump version of big government.

Hold on a second now. I just read a Trump tweet where he says that "Tariffs are the GREATEST!'...and he goes on to add that "All will be GREAT!". So...what is there to worry about?

Nothing, if you own a steel company or are in some other industry that Trump wants to make great again.
