As a former cop you are aware that there are falsely reported crimes in every category as well as people confessing to crimes they had zero involvement in. Yet you paint this as just another Muslim defect.

Falsely reported crimes are a scourge. They take resources away from preventing crimes and chasing actual bad guys. In a situation like the above the PD often pulls out all the stops.....which makes it worse.
Btw, falsely reported crimes in “every category” is bullshit. You watch too much tv. It’s almost only situations like the above and theft offenses for insurance purposes. And don’t forget rape.
“people confessing to crimes they had no involvement in” is pretty rare too.
Over the years I have stated this many times.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A HATE CRIME!
a crime is a crime is a crime. Applying special circumstances is something dreamed up by politicians. It’s a response to political circumstances and the whining of special interest groups. We are supposedly all equal. If I get killed in an assault and the perpetrator gets 15 years to life why should the perpetrator get 25 years to life if I’m gay or Muslim etc? Oh yeah? to make the special interest group feel better, right?
A crime is a crime is a crime
