Old tv set died last week, so I got a new 50" job, all set up now.

Beef lo mein and hot and sour soup.

The two coolest things were...

My wife got me an accessory cart for my bbq grill. I'm cooking on the thing 2 or 3 x a week, it's going to come in handy

THE BEST thing was watching the 3yo grand daughter open her presents. That made my whole year

My wife said before I opened my gift it would be the best thing I'll ever get:

I took a pass for the near future. I already own anything I really want. But I have an idea for the future. Not available just yet

This year was very different for the wife and I. Our 33-year tradition of spending Christmas in Florida with her parents ended when her near 102-year old dad passed in June.

Virtually all our presents to each other were of the ordinary, plain, low-cost items found at the Dollar Tree / Dollar General store. Simple things but still a lot of fun to unwrap or pull out of our Stockings.

The most notable item "Santa" brought me was a Washington REDSKINS pillow, which was found in of all places, Maine!
