Equus “Story of the Horse” – A Fine Documentary
 

So, I just happened to be perusing the TV cable guide the other day and I came across a program that I thought might be of interest. It was on Public Broadcasting and part of their “Nature” series called “Story of the Horse”. Not expecting very much I was in for a big surprise!

So, put down your form, close your computer and do yourself a favor and take the time to put some reality into your game. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in finer points about the world of horses. Particularly for those who might be interested in learning more about horse’s "physicality" from both a mental and physical perspective.

“Origins” is what I gathered to be the first of a number of episodes and it’s also available on Amazon Prime.

The episode "Chasing the Wind" is on PBS right now!

Im intrigued....does it cover racehorses because I already see the comments section complaining about the racehorse treatment.

Yes, there was some discussion of race horses. I'm not sure what people were complaining about. I found it very interesting. Both episodes were excellent. Be glad your'e not one of the Yakut (sp?) in Siberia. 50 below in the winter, and the horses survive outside.
