Stable A/S Med Jockey Wgt Trainer M/L
:1: Blue Y Gold (ARG) 8/G L J R Velazquez 123 J W Thompson 5/1
JR scheduled to ride 3-2-1-0 record for 2018-in form
:2: Colonel Sharp (KY) 5/G L F Lynch 118 H I McMahon 10/1
Last two races on the synthetic. 8 for 13 at the distance.
:3: The Man (PA) 6/G L J A Vargas, Jr. 123 J C Servis 8/1
Owned by Natalie Baffert, 8 wins for 12 lifetime starts impressive
:4: Recruiting Ready (KY) 4/C L J L Ortiz 123 H DePaz 6/1
Blinkers off w/Ortiz-should take plenty of money
:5: Laki (MD) 5/G L E S Prado 123 D R Dilodovico 8/1
3rd in the Mr Prospector against Chubilicious @24-1; Prado retains mount
:6: Midtowncharlybrown (PA) 4/C L K Carmouche 12/1 E Coletti
will scratch a little birdie told me
:7: Stallwalkin' Dude (FL) 8/G L C Cedeno 118 D Jacobson 7/2
Old man; 2nd off a long layoff, leading money winner in the field, will look to pick up the pieces, some things to like.
:8: It's the Journey (MD) 5/G L T McCarthy 118 M J Trombetta 12/1
5th in the Mr Prospector behind Chublicious and Laki, but defeated Skylers Scramjet and Delta Bluesman. 2nd off, will be on all my tickets
:9: Chublicious (NJ) 7/G LA A Gallardo 123 D A Cannizzo 9/2
1st in the Mr Prospector @MTH defeating a good field. Should get a good trip here if good enough
:10: Rockinn On Bye (MD) 7/G L T M Hole 123 S M Casey 15/1
2nd off layoff. 4-0-3-0 record at Delaware Park, seems a cut below.
:11: Always Sunshine (FL) 6/H L F Pennington 118 E T Allard 15/1
4th last out against Imperial Hint, Whitmore, Bobbi Abu Dhabi-which any of the three would be heavily favored here. High percentage rider Pennington on board. 14-4-4-3 record at the distance. Seems to have lost a step, but think the last race distance was not optimal.
Can't see how the Man is going to be 8-1 more like 4-1. Don't think Stallwalkin Dude will get up, using on the bottom only. Its the Journey the call, WPS at anywhere close to the ML odds.

I thought Chublicious looked very impressive winning at Monmouth against a field better than this one, IMO.

What do you think about the shift in weight between Chub and Its the Journey?A factor at all?

Think you guys have the top 4 contenders nailed here. Might give a little harder look at the 11, but that one looks more like a saver type.

Will be looking for more improvement from :5: Laki . Hoping for >8-1 ML odds. It doesn't appear like :9: Chublicious likes to win two in a row. Looks like they will all have to be able to run down :4: Recruiting Ready.

It's the Journey had a good pace setup and still wasn't a factor. The weight shift is irrelevant to me.

:3::7::8:
Ex and tri box.
:3: 8/12 lifetime fast enough to sit closest to pace and get first jump.
:7: dat class. Always seems to win when not running in graded stakes. Red hot Cedeno is up.
:8: 2nd off the layoff, think he will run another big fig today. Hoping the Mr. Prospector was a bit of a tune up for today.

Thats how i see the #8 also; think he runs a better/improved fig but not sure if its enough. I wonder if the #1 gets overlooked here and sits a good trip saving ground. Also, the #3 is 4 for 4 at the distance. Hope there are no more scratches besides #6 and this could be an interesting race

#4 Recruiting Ready Scratched - Trainer 9:20 AM ET
#6 Midtowncharlybrown Scratched - Trainer 9:20 AM ET
#10 Rockinn On Bye Scratched - Trainer 9:20 AM ET
obviously scratching the speed changes the complexion of the race and lowers the odds on basically everyone else. I hated the #4 in this spot. Still sticking w/my pick

Updated analysis Afleet!

I liked the :11: as my 4th pick.
How he ended up ~2-1
And in a race with Servis!

Nice call, I was watching his odds closely due to playing doubles. That stumble on the backstretch cost my 8 second place but the 11 was a clear winner.
Managed to hit this a few times w/the longshot in the next:
$1.00 Daily Double (11-6) Paid: $80.80 Daily Double Pool $22,702.00
Had a good day at Delaware(can't remember the last time I played this track). Hit both tri's on the biggest payers of the day-race 6 and 8
