All I can do is follow my heart. And my heart tells me to stay away from "conventional" Christianity. "Esoteric" Christianity is still an option, though.

I for one am not that cute.

Unless you think you are God?

I take NONE of it. I leave it all alone.

The concepts of the "judging God", and the "sinful man"...are totally alien to me. I want nothing to do with them.

And I know this because some real smart guy once said that the path to heaven is narrow...and the travelers are few.

That's right.

Best of luck to you.

Best of luck to you too...in the New Year, and BEYOND.

Do you own a mirror?

Close your Summa, Aquinas. Put down your Confessions, Augustine. Tear up half the New Testament you authored, Paul.

I can't trust someone twenty years after Christ, but I can be condescended to by a conspiracy theorist twenty centuries after Christ.

Your snappy comments are a good sign...It means you're AWAKE...But YOU have no patience.

When Hamlet saw the ghost of his father his mother said "This is the very coinage of your brain. This bodiless creation ecstasy" How do you know you are not the same person? How do you know you are saved? How do you know that both are not "the very coinage of your brain. This bodiless creation ecstasy"?

Your self-righteousness will only lead you to an eternal introduction to the Second Death.

I never made any such claim, nor do I believe any such thing. How did you ever come up with such a weird idea?

Fallacy of appeal to the stick!

You don't have to have made an explicit claim; you logically inferred it.

What kind of Christian would I be if I didn't give warnings to unbelievers? Jesus often gave such warnings! I doubt he had any personal fear of hell.

Religious Holiday

My wife informed me that she found it difficult to find a "religious" Christmas card. I'm not sure, but that's either a "contradiction in terms" or an "oxymoron".

The fact that you feel a need to “warn” unbelievers is the clearest example of both personal arrogance and malignancy...of course Christians just assume these “warnings” are legit and sort of the flip side of the Great Commission...

The stick of the bigot...whack-a-mole here, whack-a-mole there...gee, there sure are a lot of moles...
