It’s all been done before……there is no such thing as new music

My guess is that there's good music out there but the record companies are not giving singer-songwriters a chance. They keep putting out dance music and rap. The only regular music that gets a chance is country. There could be a Bob Dylan out there but I'm not sure that they'd be interested. Music is definitely in a poor state, that's for sure.

No way "new" talent today would never get the chance this guy did. Sad how many great performers we are getting to hear!

The good thing about music is that you vote with your ears. I haven’t listened to much popular music past the 70’s. I mostly listen to jazz, classical and classic country.

The great thing about the internet is I can revisit any music anytime.

How so if some idiot is blasting it with their windows down at a traffic light? The lights in this state are not on sensors so some can take forever.

Try leaning on your horn. It’s worked for me.

I know nobody uses Pandora anymore, but if you do, check out "Today's Alternative Radio" station. It's all I've listened to for the past many years. Great station.

And my playlist on Spotify contains about 90% of the music you'll hear on that Pandora station. So I disagree that new music sucks....

This is the only new artist I've liked in the past decade. And each of their albums is great not just the hits.
