Wonder what's next for him.

Chad Brown has Zandon & Early Voting for the classic distances like the Travers and BrCup Classic, so does he put Jack on the Amsterdam-Allen Jerkens-BrCup Dirt Mile road or maybe try 9f in the Haskell (which I think he can easily get) or even longer distances? Pedigree says miler, but you never know.
He's been very impressive in every start.

Brown barn is loaded...won the Gr1-New York, Gr1-Just A Game, Gr1-Woody Stephens, and Gr1-Manhattan this weekend.

He's going to the Haskell.

I can understand them taking a shot at the Haskell, but it could be too long for him. His sire Munnings ran third in the Haskell. Munnings and grandsire Half Ours are both strong speed/sprint influences. To me, he looks like a classic sprinter/miler, stocky and muscular with quick action. Can you imagine Flightline, Life Is Good, and Jack Christopher all in the same race, going, say, a mile? :21.2, :43.4...

Haskells seems good move. Depending on how he andles two turns, plenty of time choosr whichcroad to take from thee.

Jack is a freak

Jack Christopher would have dusted Cyberknife, Classic Causeway etc..., but may have paid slightly better.

Haskell is a very exciting goal. May see a solid field, and you'll have people carrying the cross for JC on the bandwagon, as well as questions regarding distance.

Midsummer races and the crop in general has been above average

If Jack Christopher is going to the Haskell, then I guess Early Voting is aiming for the Jim Dandy and Travers. I haven't read anything yet.

Brown needs a race for his other colt too (Zandon or whatever). The Whitney is no longer open to 3yos. The Dwyer is only a flat mile nowadays and is a bit far away from the Travers (July 2). They still have the West Virginia Derby?

Zandon is going to the Jim Dandy. Early Voting will go to one of the two races, the Jim Dandy or Haskell.

Why did they make the Whitney 4 year olds and up? (I'm not criticizing this- just wondering the reasoning).

I believe Martin did it. I thought it was a mistake then and still do.

As to not take entries from the Jim Dandy?

I was looking forward to a better showing by JC yesterday in the Haskell.
I never thought the classic distances were within his range, but figured he could get 9f a little better than he did.
His race wasn't awful by any means (he attended a pretty fast pace), but never looked like a winner once they hit the far turn.
Eventual winner Cyberknife was looming menacingly right behind him, and Taiba had found his legs once he got outside of horses.

I suppose the Allen Jerkens on Travers Day may be the next step for JC.
Still a big fan of this colt...is it too early to tab him as the 2023 Met Mile winner?

That was a sporting try to see what JC wanted to do.

All the other races were home court with politics in his favor, save the Pat Day in which he layed over that field by a huge margin.

Still may prove to get 9f, but give credit for a sporting brave try.
