It may be long, but it's worth it...

I don't find this kind of thing surprising, but some of the people he brought into his web of deceit is a little shocking.

Mineshaft 08-11-2014 11:15 AM

dude is a scam artist

Great article well worth the read.

Well worth the time to read. Chilling.

I don't think a summary would do the story any justice.
This could definitely be made in to a movie or at least a CNBC: American Greed story.

Mineshaft 08-11-2014 11:46 AM

he hasnt run a horse since 2012. Probably out the business by now.

I was waiting for someone to mention the CNBC show. This time the vehicle used to deceive was equine. Anytime there is rate of return, prestige or whatever there are people who will scheme a way to to take advantage & manipulate others for their gain.

As in Glenn Frey's Smuggler's Blues-

It's the lure of easy money, it's got a very strong appeal

Somebody should give this guy a "SIX PACK"............................

ELBOWS......KNEES...........ANKLES!!!!!!!!!!!

This game attracts all sorts of unsavory characters...and they operate on both sides of the fence. Anyone see the David Manet film "House of Games"? That's what these smooth-talking con men deserve in the end...IMO.

House of Games is a great movie. Particularly the last scenes.

I agree, reading about how he somehow crooned his way in with people who should know better was wild.

Villains and suckers

More than one in that story
