who writes the comment line after each race for every horse is it someone that works for DRF?

It is the same person that compiles the charts, and they work for Equibase.

Equibase usually has an employee at the major tracks doing the race comments and race charts. Wonder if it's a track employee at the smaller tracks?

I'll tell you one thing, the chart caller in NY is excellent.

It's my understanding that the final finish and lengths won/beaten by are done by the whatever photo finish company the track employs. I assume the comments and internal fractions, positions, lengths are done by someone at the track
