Inflation now at 40-year high...pay no attention to that though...
Jan 6 hearings are definitely where it's at!

Quote:
The consumer price index rose 8.6% in May from a year ago, the highest increase since December 1981. Core inflation excluding food and energy rose 6%. Both were higher than expected.
Surging food, gas and energy prices all contributed to the gain, with fuel oil up 106.7% over the past year.
Shelter costs, which comprise about one-third of the CPI, rose at the fastest 12-month pace in 31 years.
The rise in inflation meant workers lost more ground in May, with real wages declining 0.6% from April and 3% on a 12-month basis.

Let's go Brandon!

As I have said numerous times, sign me up for that 8.6% inflation. My business supplies are up a hell of a lot more than that. I can't pass it on either as damn near all my currently active customers cater to hobbyists.

Just make the minimum wage $15 and all will be fine.
Just make the minimum wage $20 and all will be fine.
Just make the minimum wage $30 and all will be fine.
Mostpost will be in soon to let us know inflation right now is a GOOD thing.
Meanwhile, in the non-taxpayer-supported-retiree world, people are suffering and can't make ends meet. The next few months will be extra rough.

Very astute. :ThmbUp::ThmbUp:
The people who have worked a lifetime are being screwed on everything from Social Security --- WHICH IS NOT BEING ON THE DOLE --- to paying their own student loans.
Hey... old white folk have to die, right?

Damn! I like baloney and grilled cheese. The last package of baloney was $6.99 I bought two weeks ago and thought WTF, $7 for a package of baloney.
I did not know that was cheap.

What I pay for electricity is one of the few things that had no price increase in the last year, heating oil was up 25%.

What are you people griping about? Inflation is a high class problem. Just like Brandon and company said about supply chain issues.
Has anyone noticed that not one of these transitory, high class problems is going away?

I read yesterday that the average American’s monthly bills are going to rise between 400-450 per month. Considering most were already heavily in debt and living week to week, I think we have a serious problem.
