03/21/24 Mahoning Valley Race Course 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Lack of Entries
Mahoning Valley has 8 races scheduled for today.
They have 6 races with only 5 entries, but not to worry Race 3 has six entries and Race 5 has 7 entries. This is before scratches.

Amazingly with 30 mtp there are no scratches. First time I've seen this in nearly 39 years of betting the horses. |

Well the problem is the two horse viruses going around there and if your horse is not on the grounds, you cannot even bring it through the stable gate. This has a huge effect. |

I think NYRA killed two birds with one stone, entries for Sunday were light, they never drew the card and then canceled Saturday card pretty early and just moved Saturday card to Sunday to avoid a big problem with Sundays card. |

"Live racing on Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31 has been cancelled due to the inclement weather forecast.
There will be a make-up day of racing on Thursday, April 4.

This is after the fact - but Turf Paradise apparently announced on Saturday, March 30th that they had cancelled all races for Monday, April 1st. (rain in forecast)
