alternate comment line in PP

Aqu 2nd race the #7 horse under his last performance line on 10/29/17 there is an addition comment. This is in bris's premium p/p ,but not in their ultimate pp. I don't remember ever seeing this before, but I could have missed it. The only reason I caught it this time is because I am considering a bet on this horse. Has anyone else seen this before?

It wasn't the usual claimed by or previous trained comments it was under the comments. It said "10/29/17 attended pace of the inside fail the threaten".

That is the expanded comment, basically from the chart. We publish that as the comment for every race. I'm not sure why BRIS put it in for one horse for one race, probably a mistake. That type of comment is available in the data feed from Equibase, most PPs just choose not to use it.

thanks cj

I am going to print it out in my oddsline [program in the future. It might be worth something.

Bris does this from time to time. I have never been able to determine a pattern. Rarely more than once or twice on a card.

A quick glance at PPs in front of me shows such a comment on the latest race of the #1 horse in the 2nd race at TuP tomorrow (Sat.). There is another one 8 races deep on the #2 horse in the 8th race.

Maybe you get a prize if you find them. :p

As CJ says, those comments are available in the Equibase charts for every horse in every race. One thing I do as a matter of routine is look at the chart of a previous race when a number of horses in today's race ran against each other last time out.
