What Circuits Do You Play On a Regular Basis?

Pretty self explanatory.

New York. Will play out of town on big races. That's all.

Gulf,Tampa,Kentucky and Monmouth.

Winter: Gulfstream/Hawthorne
Spring/Summer: Keeneland/Churchill/Arlington + Saratoga
Fall: Keeneland/CD/Hawthorne

Very rarely play NYRA outside of Toga or California

No love for Texas? Hou, Ret, LS.....

NYRA and will probably add Kentucky for the summer. I do not play AW tracks, so won't play there in the winter. I am looking into CRC-Tam, but haven't made up my mind. Everything is in flux since I recently made some changes in my methodology.

Turf Paradise
Remington
Emerald
Hollywood
Tampa
Canterbury
Prairie Meadows
Lone Star

I've never really thought about this before, but I am truly an ADW age player. I'm sure if I had gravitated to horse racing more in the 1980s, as opposed to the late 90s, early 2000s, I would've ended up playing NYRA or California or Kentucky. But I'm a child of the new generation and felt/feel no allegiance to the traditional centers of horse racing power in this country, and consequently, I got sucked into a lot of the regional/small-time meets around the country, for various reasons (mostly because I win there more often than the big time tracks).

I look for and attempt to play profitable wagers at ALL US and Canadian tracks. (No "circuit" stuff for me. :))

Turf routes (all levels - especially graded stakes and maiden claimers): BELMONT, SANTA ANITA, MONMOUTH, GULFSTREAM, EVANGELINE (the numbers track)
Dirt routes (Graded stakes, maiden claimers): CHURCHILL, PARX, FINGER LAKES

Apparently Oaklawn has taken a drop in class > to a circuit (instant racing) of it's own :)

What's the pernt of the poll and if I answer do I stand a chance to win a prize?

I love prizes. They make me giddy.

i like to play NYRA tracks for about a dozen horses a year. they give you a great chance to take down scores if you have the right material. other than the few horses during the course of the year i make an effort not to bet races there, it is really that tough to overcome all the very smart people that crunch the numbers in that place along with the excellent handicapper's.

personally, i love the OHIO circuit and the MOUNTAIN. i take notes on every race every single day in those places and watch replays of every single race.

Keeneland consistently. Stakes races all around the country.

burnsy 05-14-2012 08:59 AM

NYRA, gulfstream, churchill and some at santa anita. i won't bet the poly, all weather or synth. keenland i only play the grass races and an occasional stakes race. i used to play del mar after saratoga but now i get home earlier. i like following NYRA in the summer. the belmont to saratoga angle is key to a successful saratoga meet.
