Because he is dealing with corrupt congress (barring few). All Clinton gang members received immunity before talking to FBI for instance. IMO.

If any of us were Flynn, we'd be asking for immunity too. He directly lied to the FBI last year about sanctions. His focus is on absolving himself of that crime. Period. Talking to the Russians about the sanctions wasn't a crime. Saying he didn't do that to the FBI was a crime.

This is most likely correct. He may be holding out a carrot (the full story) in exchange for getting out of what he actually did wrong. However, that does not mean the full story contains anything significant about him or others and illegal collusion with Russia.

If neither committee takes him up on his offer, then we'll know that they already know there is no fire under all that smoke. They'd rather let him hang for his crime and say they did a public service for the millions being spent frivolously on this effort.
