I believe the investigation is focused in possible insurance, bank and or property tax fraud. He is alleged to have overstated the value of properties for insurance and bank lending reasons and understated them for property tax reasons. That is what his former attorney Michael Cohen has alleged. Could that lead to IRS issues if proven, I don't know.

When the man wants to tax you what you say will have nothing to do with what you pay unless you seek to challenge the assessment. Michael Cohen is a idiot who thought the feds would leave him alone if he made something up, good luck to a sleaze bags stock going up.

It's been my experience in real life that most of the time it takes quite a while to learn who one can truly trust, whether it be business associate, friend or family. True colors and character usually remain hidden until something pokes the devil that tries to live within all of us; the weak sole being the most vulnerable to contamination and who will clearly emerge as the "bigger fool," when all is said and done: Cohen went to jail; Trump walks among us.
