Brown's Morning Lines Less Than 3-1 @Stakes @BEL -- 42% finish 2nd!!!
 

So far, this year in Stakes races at Belmont whenever his horses are less than 3-1 in the Morning Line they have run 2nd 42% of the time!!!

Since May 5th, 9 of the last 21 finished 2nd when they were less than 3-1 in the Morning Line in Stakes races no matter the Surface Turf or Dirt!!!

Interesting to note, whenever his Morning Lines ended in 5 (i.e.1/5,,,9/5) this season they have finished second in 6 out of their last 8 attempts!!!

It's very revealing what you find when you peel back some of the layers!!!

He has these Morning Line 5ers today in Stakes Races:

7th race
#9 Fifty Five

8th race
#3 Lewis Bay

Let's see if he can get these to complete the Exacta's it will be interesting to see if either or both run 2nd today at Belmont!!!

Why is it that his horses continue to run 2nd in this situation?

#9 Fifty Five got the win for Brown in the Stakes race in the 7th yesterday at Belmont while #3 Lewis Bay finished off the board!!!

Since this post, Brown has had a win and an off the board in this situation whenever he has a Morning Line ending in 5 (i.e.1/5,,,9/5) in a Stakes race Turf or Dirt
