I had hoped for some other horse besides the :1: to go with the favorite early, but didn't materialize.

:5: needed that to get the wire first.

OAKLAWN - RACE 1

:6: LITTLE CHIEF

Broberg, 3rd lifetime start, two sprints to a route angle.
Favorite is older horse that could win, but is really favored because of lack of experience of all the others in field.

Well, looked good most of the way (50.30 for the 1/2 mile, 1:16.03 for the 3/4), but off the turn he couldn't quicken and got passed too easily by the favored :2: and :4:.

Had the pace his own way and still didn't respond.

Saw her now in the warmup and she looks like she wants to run today.
Outside post might keep her out of trouble early.

:8: had the speed try setup but the :7: ROLL DINERO ROLL forced him all the way on the lead, ended up fading 4th.

:5: did come running at that faltering duo and just got up in time to win over the other favorite :6: PAPA STAR.
